I’m at home now. The stent was place perfectly. Best outcome ever.
Now I have about four weeks to wash the Avastin out of my system before I can have surgery to remove the part of the intestine that’s bad. Hopefully they can just cut out the bad part and sew it all up.
For now, I’m blissed out on simply being home and having my family around me.
Hugs,
Jennifer

We’ll take perfection! I’m smiling at the happy thoughts of you and the family at home, snuggled and cozy. Sending more hugs, just for good measure. Love you. xxoo rj

Such great news, Jennifer! Can’t get much better than “placed perfectly”. So glad you’re back in your cozy home. You are amazing and strong! Still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as Ronnie said above, “for good measure.” (love the photo of the little yogi–is that little J? His hair looks so red, so not sure…) Hugs and lots of love….

I’m happy for you getting relief and surgery soon. Looking at your LittleJ’s pictures, I can’t help but feel compassion for him as he traverses these steps with you. He must be a very happy boy full of healing energy for his mom. I just love that you write about him. Jen, you’ll get through this. Surgery will be a blessing because your docs will be able to repair the problem area. You’re tough. Stay brave! Hope is the thing with feathers…!
